  • William Tisdale

    Director of Economic & Community Development

    William Tisdale is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma and has worked in economic and community development for over twenty-five years with a professional practice that focused on market and economic analysis, financial feasibility analysis, and economic impact analysis for housing, shopping center, museum, and downtown mixed-use projects around the country. In this practice his clients have included private developers, city government agencies, non-profit development organizations, institutions of higher education, and religious organizations. William has consulted on economic development projects across the country including public/private financing strategies, community and regional strategic planning assignments, a broad-range of university-related assignments and inner-city projects.

    Prior to founding Twenty20, William served as Director of Minority Business Development for the Metropolitan Tulsa Chamber of Commerce. In this capacity he led the strategic community-wide vision planning process involving local citizens, corporate executives in creating the North Tulsa Study Economic Development Plan. Released in 1999, the study focused on residential, industrial, and retail expansion opportunities north of Interstate 244. This plan served as a catalyst in attracting Brainerd Chemical, Fintube, Whirlpool and Albertson grocery to locate in the Tulsa North area and generated more than $100 million dollars of investments over the past 20 years.

    Director of Planning and Design

    Gary Sparks in 1978 decided it was time to start an architectural practice. It has proven to be one of the best, most rewarding decisions he has ever made. He has been blessed to have his architectural firm selected to design hundreds of significant projects during his career.

    However, there are three projects that are particularly special to Gary. The Coleman Theatre in Miami, OK, Gallagher-Iba Arena and Boone Pickens Stadium in Stillwater, OK. The 15 years Gary worked on the Coleman Theatre and the 14 years on Gallagher-Iba and Boone Pickens Stadium have provided him with an incredible knowledge in renovation/expansion of government or public facilities.

    Gary’s 50 years of experience provides leadership, passion for master planning, insight into complex building operations and extensive knowledge of experiential environments has established the firm’s service-oriented, high caliber approach to deliver high-level design for many of the Mid-West’s most notable properties. Gary brings vital intelligence and insight to creating architectural experiences that resonate with visitors and users.
